The assignment was given by Shell chemicals BV. The task was to provide a design for the protection of a cooling system against debris coming from the watered area. FDN developed an effective system of floating concrete hollow blocks, which would prevent unintended accumulation of debris at the intake sieves. The concrete blocks are easy to build and install.
